A Father’s Day Treat

A few years later, our dad took a trip to Mexico, where he and some friends stumbled upon a quaint little town in Bernal. There was a magical feeling in the air. In the plaza, they met a lady selling stone-ground chocolate balls. After walking away, they were left with a sense of awe—not just from the place or the people, but from something deeper, something divine.
When he returned home, Dad set a small bag of chocolate on the table and said, “I brought this for y’all!” Our oldest brother’s eyes widened. “I didn’t even know you could make chocolate,” he said with a smile. As Father’s Day approached, we, along with some friends, planned a five-course meal for our dads. The dessert was chocolate mousse topped with our very first chocolate truffle.

What began as a divine encounter and a gesture of love became the birth of our chocolate business. From there, Adolfo—our oldest brother—was so intrigued that he ordered a small chocolate mill and began experimenting with chocolate in our kitchen. His passion and love for sweets fueled the creation of a whole new product line. Soon after, local friends and businesses began asking us to develop a chocolate syrup for their coffee shops. Months later, Adolfo had crafted an entire line of syrups from scratch.
Since then, we’ve been honored with more than five international accolades. Remarkably, after making only a handful of batches, our white chocolate placed second in the world finals at the International Chocolate Awards. Today, we continue to grow—striving for excellence and craftsmanship in everything our hands find to do.
